All of us have a story to tell and a legacy to leave. Below are inspiring stories of faithful supporters like you. Each has included World Vision in their estate plan so they can continue to support World Vision after their lifetime - it's their legacy of love to the world's children.
Wanda Chochol, Ohio
World Vision partner since 2000
More than a decade ago, Wanda felt a tug on her heart to help disadvantaged children. That's when she saw World Vision mentioned in her church bulletin. Wanda signed up to become a child sponsor. Today, Wanda sponsors a number of children. She enjoys corresponding with them, receiving their letters and following their progress.
"World Vision can do so much with the money in another country than I could do from here," she says. "Just knowing that it is providing water for villages or a family that doesn't have a well ... it's great to know that it supplies health and education for them." She is also pleased to know that these children and families are experiencing the love of Jesus through the efforts of World Vision.
Wanda wants to keep giving and making a difference, long into the future.
"This is something that I support now, and I just want it to continue," she explains. "It's a great way to keep on doing something for someone after you are gone."
With World Vision, says Wanda, "I know that the money is used wisely and it goes where it will do the most good."
