All of us have a story to tell and a legacy to leave. Below are inspiring stories of faithful supporters like you. Each has included World Vision in their estate plan so they can continue to support World Vision after their lifetime - it's their legacy of love to the world's children.
Pat Miles, Kentucky
World Vision partner since 1963
Asked about her lifelong generosity, Pat responds with a question of her own. "Why shouldn't I give?" she asks. "The Lord has blessed me. He's provided all my needs and wants."
According to Pat, there's an important reason for all this blessing: "God has given me plenty so I can be a blessing to others."
After more than five decades of faithful sponsorship, Pat decided to continue her legacy of giving by including World Vision in her estate plan: "[World Vision is] the beneficiary on my IRAs, CDs, and even my house when my husband and I no longer need it."
Now, she says, "I can have the satisfaction of knowing that the money I don't need will be put to good use. With World Vision, I know who I'm helping. The money goes where it needs to go-to those who do not have the basics of life."
"Supporting children through World Vision is by far the most rewarding and secure investment I've ever made," she says.
"God has been so good to me, and I cannot begin to repay him. I just want to thank Him by helping His little ones."
