All of us have a story to tell and a legacy to leave. Below are inspiring stories of faithful supporters like you. Each has included World Vision in their estate plan so they can continue to support World Vision after their lifetime - it's their legacy of love to the world's children.
Bill & Moya Mote, Ohio
Part of the World Vision family since 2001.
While attending a concert at their church, Bill and Moya accepted an invitation to help children in need. "We decided to sponsor two little girls from Chile," Bill says. The experience has been transformational.
In 2008, Bill and Moya had the opportunity to visit their sponsored children. "Now we can say firsthand what World Vision is doing in communities around the world," says Bill.
Having seen the transformation with their own eyes, Bill and Moya began looking for more ways to help World Vision. That's when Bill discovered that that he could name World Vision as a beneficiary on their life insurance policy. "It was as simple as getting the paperwork from the insurance company, filling it out, and sending a copy to World Vision," he says. "It was really very easy."
"When we think about how God has blessed us, we realize he didn't give us these resources for our benefit only, but to help someone else, too," continues Bill. "It's not just an insurance policy for us; it's an insurance policy for what God wants it to be."
