All of us have a story to tell and a legacy to leave. Below are inspiring stories of faithful supporters like you. Each has included World Vision in their estate plan so they can continue to support World Vision after their lifetime - it's their legacy of love to the world's children.
Carol & Craig Powell, Pennsylvania
World Vision partner since 1979
As a paralegal, Carol has helped countless people plan their estates. "In my experience," she says, "only a small number leave anything to charity in their wills. They miss a real opportunity to extend the giving traditions they had in life."
Carol and her husband, Craig, are making the most of that opportunity, though. "I'm always amazed at what you can accomplish by making a charitable donation in your will," says Carol.
That's why she and Craig have included World Vision in their will. "We just want to know that at the end of our lives, we used our estate to do good for those who are still here," Carol explains. "God is using us to carry out His plan to help others."
"World Vision has always stood out," Craig explains. He and Carol have faithfully supported World Vision for more than 30 years. "It brings us joy to contribute to an organization that's so faithful in doing the work they do?and doing it well, making a real difference in the world," concludes Carol.
Do your current plans reflect the legacy you want to leave?
